Position: Assistant or Coordinator, Real Assets

Location: Montreal, QC

 

 

Our client is seeking a collaborative and resourceful individual to support the Real Assets teams through a variety of administrative and operational tasks.

 

Reporting to the Senior Portfolio Manager, Private Debt and Infrastructure, the incumbent will play a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of daily activities, supporting special projects, and providing administrative support to multiple managers and their teams. They will also prepare legal documentation related to investment transactions and liaise with external managers to collect and organize essential information, while maintaining a high level of professionalism, accuracy, and discretion.

Primary Responsibilities

 

Operational & Administrative Support

  • Manage Outlook inboxes, coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
  • Compile and organize financial statements, quarterly reports, and tax documents from third-
  • party sites
  • Prepare and submit expense reports for team members
  • Maintain organized filing systems for all investment-related documents
  • Create and review detailed charts, tables, and presentations for internal meetings to ensure
  • accuracy and consistency
  • Manage research list, commissions report, and hedging report for Resource and Royalties group

 

Investment Documentation

  • Prepare legal and transactional documentation such as limited partnership agreements,

subscription agreements, legal and tax opinions for new private investments

    • coordinate signatures and act as a key liaison with internal and external parties (legal counsel, fund managers, tax advisors)

 

Special Projects

  • Collaborate with internal teams and third-party managers for real asset projects

 

Professional Requirements

  • DEC in Administration, Office Automation, or a related field (or equivalent combination of

education and experience)

  • 2 -5 years of experience in a similar administrative role
  • Experience in finance or investment management, an asset
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365
  • Bilingual (French and English)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Collaborative team player with strong communication skills
  • Discreet and professional in handling confidential information
